How We Rebuilt the Website for ANAX VK, an Architecture Studio

ANAX VK design some of the most beautiful buildings we've come across. Their old site didn't show that. Here's how we changed it.

By Andreas Spyropoulos

Great work that stayed hidden

ANAX VK Consultancy is an architecture and interior design studio based in Heraklion and Athens. They take on big projects, hotels, airport lounges, whole master plans, and the work is genuinely impressive.

The problem was their old website. The projects were all there, but the site didn't do them justice. If you landed on it without knowing the studio, you wouldn't feel how strong the work really is. The look and the character of each project got lost along the way.

We started by listening

Before we touched a single design, we wanted to really understand the studio.

We ran a first online meeting to learn what they needed and what mattered to them. Then we met in person to go through the projects one by one and get a real feel for the architect's style. We also sent over a short questionnaire to fill in the gaps, so nothing was left to guessing.

Moodboard, three designs, then live

With all of that in hand, we put together a moodboard to agree on the direction. Once it was approved, we designed three different options and let them pick the one that felt right.

This was a demanding project. It asked for a careful hand, keeping the focus on the architecture and letting the images breathe. The result was worth it. The new site is live, the whole team is proud of it, and both sides came away happy.
